Well, it’s been about a week since I’m on this 52 Day Challenge. Although the scale don’t seem to show much difference, swinging back and forth in both weight and body fat percentage, I am noticing visually slight differences in my mid section. And above that, I can feel my abs again. It’s been a year of lazy eating and random workout routines, since I last could sense my abs underneath my skin/fat. I think the Belly Off Challenge workouts, especially those jack-knife curls with the fitness ball, are working on my core. A fellow softball teammate is also eating clean and maintaining a proper workout routine so it’s definitely easier than trying to do this by myself. We’re holding each other accountable for our commitment. Here’s to finishing this challenge and continuing with a good life style.
Now as for today, Friday, Jan 18th, it’s a rest day. Though I spent a good 3 hours walking around the Moscone Center for Macworld 2008. Low impact but definitely beats my usual desk job work day. Going to rest up tonight and do the Body Challenge 100 x 2 tomorrow morning.
